Research Interests

General research areas include transformations of the media system and social aspects of Internet technologies. Currently exploring the application of network analysis methodology to media studies problems. My recent work is on inter-media agenda-setting and the effects of specific factors (ownership, media type, size of outlets) on it – in addition to looking into the implications of network structure for the influence flow across outlets.

As a research assistant for the Annenberg Networks Network (ANN) lead by Peter Monge and Manuel Castels, presently working on  projects exploring scientific collaboration and virtual team formation. (Read my posts on the ANN website)

Part of the Metamorphosis group lead by Sandra Ball-Rokeach, studying the impact of new media on engagement and intergroup dialogue in diverse communities.
